Richard Finn, CMT, PTS, CMTPTDirector and InstructorRichard is a graduate of the Academy of Myotherapy and Physical Fitness. He earned his CMT through the Life Credit Program at the Colorado School of Healing Arts. He is a Board Certified member of the National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists, and served as president from 1992-94. He is currently the Director and a core instructor at Pittsburgh School of Pain Management. Richard is currently on the Board of Advisors of the Clinical Bulletin of Myofascial Therapy, Board of Advisors of the Fibromyalgia Research Foundation, and on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists. He is a Clinical Associate in the American Academy of Pain Management and has been a featured speaker at their annual meetings. Richard is a frequent contributor to medical journals and has coauthored a set of wall charts of muscle length tests with C.M. Shifflett and a textbook Myofascial Pain Syndrome: Manual Trigger Point & SEMG Biofeedback Therapy Methods with Gabriel Sella, MD.
Priscilla Brown, BA Biology, ATI, SMTInstructorPriscilla Brown is a Certified Alexander Technique Teacher. She trained in Philadelphia at the Alexander Alliance, and is a teaching member of Alexander Technique International. Priscilla is certified as a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator. She holds a BA in biology and is a registered medical technologist. Presently she teaches Alexander Technique and T'ai Chi.
Tanya Chaney, BA, CMTPTInstructorTanya received her bodywork training from PSPM. Currently, Tanya works at UPMC Passavant Hospital and teaches Neurology at PSPM. In addition, Tanya serves on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists. Tanya is also an instructor at the Community College of Allegheny County.
Kathryn Day, CMT, CMTPTInstructorKathryn Day received her massage training at Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy. Kathryn is a 2003 graduate of PSPM and a graduate of LaRouch College. Specializing in home care, Kathryn currently runs the student clinic at PSPM and teaches Self-treatment Techniques and Pathology in the Anatomy and Physiology curriculum.
Jeff Lutz, CMTPTInstructorJeff Lutz received his training at PSPM. He has a practice in Greensburg, PA. He teaches the Anatomy section in our Anatomy and Physiology course. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists and teaches seminars in Myofascial Therapy. |
